(9:29:20 AM) Tony: i go check my car nothing
(9:29:27 AM) Tony: just then, my boss’s door opens
(9:29:33 AM) Tony: and 3 ft away from me
(9:29:42 AM) Tony: is some dude, like 6ft , long hair , beard,
(9:29:49 AM) Tony: we look at each other for like 5 seconds
(9:29:55 AM) Tony: he slams my boss’s door
(9:30:00 AM) Tony: jumps out his window
(9:30:02 AM) Tony: and into his car and bolt
(9:30:19 AM) Justin Rainbow: wtf? so the guy was trying to rob the place?
(9:30:20 AM) Tony: that loud noise i heard in my office
(9:30:25 AM) Tony: was him smashing my boss’s window
(9:30:34 AM) Tony: all he got was my boss’s tv
(9:30:38 AM) Justin Rainbow: damn
(9:30:41 AM) Tony: but he was probably going to clean the office out

So we (the crew from SheKnow.com), are in Los Angeles for a few days visiting the Gorilla Nation Media team. We’ve been here for a day or so and I’m very impressed with how they run their program. They’re in a beautiful office with some big things going on, I think I had a different perspective based on the whole LA web company type perception that Techcrunch potrays in their 2.0 conversations.

I’m going to go more into detail about my trip as I get time to blog, but I did go to Hollywood Park Casino tonight and hit up the NL games (which I never do, I’m primarily a limit player), and left with a nice triple up. The game was really soft, I may do it again before I go, but it was nice.

Spent a lot of today testing the CMS…we went yard sale’ing this morning to no avail. Nothing good out there today, but at the last moment, we found a lawn mower and weedwacker up in Phoenix for $50 and both were just about brand new. Same house also was selling a full weight set with bench for $75. We walked away with about $400 of stuff for $125. Not bad at all…cheers.

Lot of stuff going on. Fun but busy. Daughter has 2 karate tournaments..22nd in Mesa, 29th, in Costa Mesa, CA. Then I’m going to LA from the 23rd to the 26th. We have a huge project due this Tues the 18th. It just keeps going on and on and on hehe. I’d like to get some posts to catch everyone up to what I’m doing but not now, maybe this weekend.

So my daughter left for Boston on Friday to go compete in the Eastern Mass ATA Tournament in Bourne, MA. I’ll go into detail another post how I felt about that but lets focus on the big news we got right now! My dad just called from MA and told me she took 2nd in Forms and 2nd in Sparring. Omg, I’m so stoked and proud of my daughter, I cant begin to say. You wait, I’m gonna drive everyone crazy when the video tape gets in. More coming soon.

So I have this new job at Sheknows.com and I’ll get more into that later. But a situation has unfolded that is frustrating me. Now that I have a job with strict hours , I actually have to get up early every day now. Not a big deal. The thing that really pisses me off is that when I’m on time, my day is starting well, and then some accident by a truck driver makes me 30 min to 1 hr late for work. If I had known about the stuipd accident that had a 5 mile backup, I’d have slept till 7:30 and still gotten to work at the same tmie I got in , by leaving at 6:05. Make sense?
